Innocence is a lack of guilt, with respect to any kind of crime, or wrongdoing. In a legal context, innocence is to the lack of legal guilt of an individual, with respect to a crime. In other contexts, it is a lack of experience.   As a true crime buff & supporter of the Innocence Project, I'm well aware of this. But, I think the book is an important read for those who might not know about false confessions & other injustices. Overall, a disappointing read that I honestly can't recommend I received a free advanced copy of this book and am voluntarily providing my honest.
